Our society buzzes with technical jargon. We constantly use the Internet to access social media, schedule health care appointments, and participate in civic and work meetings. You likely also have a wireless router in your own home which allows you to stream videos from providers such as Netflix, Hulu, and others. Have you ever wondered how that all works? Have you wondered how to secure your home network and / or restrict access to the internet from your home? Do you try to find answers to your questions online only to be more confused by the implications of what you are doing? Do you want a place where someone works to provide meaningful answers and sufficient background to help you understand?

My name is Ken Gahagan. I have spent decades in the technology industry as a programmer, telephony engineer, network engineer, and leader. My last full-time employment I was Vice-President of Research and Development for SAS. I’ve been complimented on my ability to make complex subjects approachable. I would like to do that for you.
